Over the past few years, the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) has delivered rest-frame UV to optical spectra for numerous galaxies in the early universe up to z ~ 14.5. This dataset provides unprecedented insight into the nature of early galaxies and their impact to the cosmic reionization. In my talk, I will present the most up-to-date results indicated from JWST spectroscopy, highlighting the nature of stars, gas, and AGN activities of galaxies at the highest redshifts, as well as the insight into reionization.
